Vocational Service

The treasure that Rotarians hold lies in their experience and knowledge. The goal of Vocational Service is to unlock that treasure and leverage it within the Community both locally and further afield to inspire and help people. Programs designed to exploit this wealth of experience benefit youth, disabled, elderly, disadvantaged as well as youth leaders and ordinary citizens. Some of Lincoln Vocational Rotary projects have included mentoring At Risk teenagers, teaching English as a Second Language, providing Scholarships, and holding an annual Speech Contest for High School Students. The Vocational Committee also supports Relay for Life, the 15 Minute exercise on Drunk Driving at the High School, honoring a Student of the Month and sponsors the Interact Club at we are hosting the first District Interact Conference at Lincoln High School.
