Here's what Rotary International says:
"
Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that:
-
provides
humanitarian service,
-
encourages
high ethical standards in all vocations, and
-
helps build
goodwill and peace in the world."
There are over 32,000 Rotary clubs worldwide, with over 1.2 million members. The 2007-08 President of
Rotary International
is Wilfrid Wilkinson from Trenton, Ontario, Canada. Click

Locally, we are one of 40 clubs in
Rotary District 5180
, which covers an area from Oroville to Walnut Grove and from West Sacramento to El Dorado Hills. The 2007-08 District Governor is Clarence Parkins, a member of the Rancho Cordova club. Click here to look at the District website. Our club was chartered in January 1946.
We have a
dinner meeting every Monday
(except holidays) at 6:45 pm, in the basement of the Fair Oaks Community Clubhouse, at 7997 California Avenue (at the corner of Temescal Street), across the street from the Slocum House Restaurant. This
map
will help you find us. Check the column next to this one for current meeting information and join us for dinner someday.
