General Information
Every effort has been made to keep the navigation style and colors similar to Rotary Internationals.
Registering on the website
Only members of the District Clubs are able to Register. Additionally new members must specify their club and have confirmation from the club Secretary. This is intended to prevent spam and any unwanted mail, phone calls, and email.
By registering on the website, you are allowed to see Rotary privileged information, such as membership lists. In order for your name to appear in the club roster, you must be registered. Registering facilitates the management of the Club and District. The club can print the roster from the website, thereby easing the work needed to produce it. Every Club member is highly encouraged to register.
You have a distinct User ID and once one is assigned it cannot be changed. (You may register a second time with a different User ID, passwords however may be reused). Your password must include at least one NON Alpha Numeric Character, which includes @#$%^&*()+=, and must be at least 7 characters long. Please also remember that the Password is case sensitive.
When to Use Login
If you need to use some of the sophisticated features of the website, such as Communicator to email members of your club; to check the membership roster of your club; or to edit some feature on the website, you will have to log in. If you entered the website from a club site, you will have to login again in order to use District functions such as Communicator or Calendar. For Calendar, however, only those individuals that have editing rights to Calendar need to log in.
If you are only on the website to use Communicator, you do not need to login at your club site, but may go directly to the District Communicator where you can login.
Quick Reference guide
Home
Click on the Rotary Wheel, in the upper left hand corner of the page, or on Home at the top of other pages to return to the Home page.
Banners
There are three banners (one active, two hidden) at the top of the website. To activate the others, click on one of the three topics below the picture to bring up its representative banner.
Links
Whenever you pass your mouse cursor over blue text, and the color changes from Blue to Brown, it is a link, and you may click on it to be redirected to a different page. This works like the blue underlined text links you have seen in past websites.
Quick Keys
Show Me
Click on the button ‘Show Me’ to see a drop down menu with a list of current topics. Select one of the topics and you will be redirected to that page. To return to the Home page, click the Rotary Wheel in the upper left hand corner.
Calendar
Click here and a new page will open containing the Club and /or District Calendar. If you enter onto the website through the District site (rather than through your own club site) you will see the District Calendar.
Reverse color is used on the calendar to highlight important dates. Days in grey are Saturday and Sunday. Light Blue indicates events occurring on the indicated days. Dark Blue represents either today’s date, or a date you have selected, or pointed to. The information in the right hand panel will represent the day in Dark Blue.
Please note the links at the bottom of the page. These may be selected to display a list of all events. Your choices are only District events; individual club events; or all events and functions scheduled on both district and club sites. The events may be printed by clicking on the appropriate links at the bottom of the page.
A club must be using and entering data on the Calendar for their events to be listed.
Newsletter
Click here to visit the latest monthly District Newsletter. This is a PDF file that may be printed.
The Governor’s newsletter is a weekly feature and is found by clicking on the ‘Fog Horn’ on Column 1 of the Home Page.
Communicator
If you have logged in, you may use this powerful tool to contact other members and groups of members within the club (or District if you have been assigned District a role). Because of security and anti spam concerns, no email addresses are exposed or referenced. Individuals are referenced by names or titles only.
RI Current News
This is an exciting new internet feature! It is a news feed, which is automatically updated to give you the latest RI news. Check here frequently to see the latest International news.
